My counselling experience is expansive including offering long term counselling, short term counselling.CBT, Solution Focused Counselling, Integrative counselling. Settings I have offered counselling in include a university; within two London hospitals; bereavement counselling for a well know bereavement charity;short term counselling over several years for a well known mental health service, offering counselling to clients who may be referred by psychiatrists, social workers, crisis team, clients who self refer
I bring eleven years experience in the field of smoking cessation as a stop smoking counsellor so understand and am skilled in offering support to people wanting to move towards more healthy ways of living/breaking free from addictive behaviours in other areas. into more healthy, productive ways of living that they are chosing. Supporting people in sustaining the changes they make.
I have worked as a counsellor for an employee assistance program for many years, offering telephone support/crisis management support to callers. I now take counselling referrals on a regular basis from e.a.p.s, personal injury claim services, alongside private referrals, offering support to clients via Zoom and telephone counselling.
